Trusted by the experts
Dr Naras Lapsys, Dietitian
"Every day, more and more studies confirm that processed food and in particular, processed carbohydrates, are just not good for us. Chief bars really tick all the boxes."
Jessica Turton, Dietitian
"Chief Bars give me the proteins, nutrients, and energy that I need - while saving me time! I love that these 'protein bars' are made from real food, and the added bonus is that they taste delicious."
Cliff Harvey, Nutritionist
"One of my 'go-tos' for a ketogenic diet. They're convenient, they include collagen (which is great for my beaten up ol' joints!), and MCTs to help you get into and sustain ketosis."

It wasn't until I tried the Chief protein bars, that I realised how much I did not like the texture of the usual store bought bars. As described, these are more like a shortbread consistency & the Lemon Tart one is my FAVOURITE. Have already ordered a box of those!
Natalie H.Verified BuyerReviewingCollagen Protein Bar - Mixed Box - Rated 4 out of 5 starsYesterdayGrass fed collagen protein powder
I have tried a few different protein drinks but this one is the only one that didn't upset my gut. As a person who does not have a gallbladder I found it hard with other drinks. But I'm very happy with the Chief grass-fed collagen protein powder. Would highly recommend
Sharon R.Verified BuyerReviewingCollagen Protein Powder - Dark Chocolate - Rated 5 out of 5 starsYesterdayGood mix
I love these protein bars (but not all flavours).
It is a good mix options to try the flavours, I would not say I like every flavour but this is the way to find what you like.
Hazelnut and Double choc remain my top choices.

So tasty and I’m stoked to have found a protein powder with clean ingredients so I can use it while breastfeeding!
N k.Verified BuyerReviewingCollagen Protein Powder - Dark Chocolate - Rated 5 out of 5 stars2 days agoBest frother
Kids initially got a frother from elsewhere that broke very quickly. This was a gift from Chief with our first order. It’s brilliant. Frother comes off so no dropping the whole thing in water any more.
Tracey G.Verified BuyerReviewingRechargeable Mini Electric Stirrer and Frother - Rated 5 out of 5 stars3 days agoTaste test
I bought all the flavours and had a taste test with my kids to see what they liked and would “accept” in their lunch boxes on those days you need something quick from a packet to add for a snack - with no guilt.
The winners were choc mint and double choc, and salted caramel second. It was a fun family activity which was a bonus.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
The best way to describe the taste would be like a nut butter biscuit. They're sweet but they’re very low in sugar because we use a natural sweetener (monk fruit). We avoid stevia because it can have a lingering aftertaste.
-
Collagen is an odourless, tasteless, dairy free protein source that's a co-product of beef. We like it because it's a great environmentally friendly option and easier on the gut than other proteins like whey. There's also a bunch of new research suggesting it's beneficial for gut health, joint and tendon health, recovery and hair, skin and nails.
-
Yes! We don't market them as a "keto" product because strict ketosis followers might have an issue with the small amount of maple syrup in them (which is negligible, contributing <0.5g of sugar per bar) but we have designed the bars in consultation with nutritionists and keto experts who have confirmed they very much qualify as, and are recommended by those experts as, keto friendly.
-
Chief Collagen bars are an very healthy and natural snack that can be enjoyed daily by anyone. They're also great pre or post workout.
-
Absolutely - that's when many women need more nutrition the most. Still, check with your healthcare provider first since they know your specific situation.
-
Yes! Our kids love them and our whole range is perfect for kids. They are quite filling though so half a bar will probably be more than enough for the younger ones. Please note they do contain nuts.
